 Description

The hitbox of trapdoors is not as wide as a block, it is possible to jump on the small ledge created by placing a trapdoor over a block.

Resolving issues that were marked as fixed in the 1.15 and 1.16 Betas, now that 1.16.0 is being released.

I'm still experiencing this problem, i have villagers in a 1x1x2 space. They are standing on halfslabs, the halfslab is surrounded by glass blocks, on top of the first row of glass i have a nother row,, except in one side were i have a trapdoor, the villagers can walk from the halfslab onto the glass block that has the trapdoor on top.

They shouldn't be able to do this, then they can jump from the glass block to the trapdoor on top and escape the holding area.

Possibly related to MCPE-59428

It does not only work vertically. It also works horizontally. You can place a trapdoor or mob spawner between normal full blocks like for example stone and you'll see that you are lower than standing on top of a normal block like stone. And if a trapdoor or mob spawner is in a ceiling and you fly in creative mode against the ceiling you can fly against a block like stone next to the spawner or trapdoor.

as a feedback comment, from my opinion this is a useful feature in some cases and as it has been here for a lot of time is considered a feature by me

Comment by Zeb [ 02/Apr/17 ]

Confirmed to affect 1.1.0.0. Affects both wooden & iron trapdoors.

Comment by [MCPE Helper] Dylan K. Taylor [ 15/Dec/16 ]

This is because the bounding box of trapdoor is inset 0.0005 (half a millimetre) of a block in the horizontal axes.

Reproduced on 0.16.2, LG G5 H850 with Android 7.0
