relates to MCPE-10858 Reloading a world while in or ungroun... Resolved
Confirmation Status: Unconfirmed
Platform: Tablet - Android - Asus Nexus 7

 Description

If you save (exit) a game standing on a slab and have anoter slab directly above you, upon entering the world you will be spawned in the same coordinates, but in a different height. Can be as high as the surface if there are no valid places in between.

I can confirm it's fixed in 0.14.3

Does this bug still appear in 0.14.3? Please respond.

I just found something else, if there is no valid block to place you it will drop you from very high in the sky at world's spawn, regardless of where your bed is. This can be achieved by having lava be the highest block avaliable. Apparently the game will never spawn you in lava.

Interesting. This seems highly related to MCPE-10858 where respawning when ungrounded (i.e. quitting while floating/falling) above lava causes the same thing to happen.

indeed i just tried and you end up on top of it

Interesting. I guess if you did it in Nether, you'd be able to ascend on top of the bedrock layer.

First screenshot shows where I exit the world and second one where i end up after loading it again.
