Where was it confirmed ? (Are you sure you do not confuse Quasi-connectivity and BUDs ?)

Comment by kaleb418 [ 04/Jun/16 ]

It has finally been confirmed by the developers that the absence of Quasi-connectivity is, in fact, not a bug, and that the new observer block replaces its function.

Comment by PHO [ 04/Apr/16 ]

Since devs have said nothing about quasi-connectivity in MCPE so far, we don't know whether it's an intended difference or a mistake. On the other hand, closing the issue as Works as Intended will only result in oblivion. So please keep it open until devs do something about it.

No, MCPE and MC PC Edition will probably never reach full compatibility because they are written in completely separate languages. There are many features exclusive to PE, and many that are exclusive to the PC edition. Unless one of the MCPE developers confirms a feature addition, we can't assume that it should be included.

Comment by Azelef [ 03/Apr/16 ]

The way I understand the situation is that the devs are trying to reach feature parity and compability. This includes adding quasi connectivity. If you bought "super mario bros : pocket edition", you would expect to be able to use the warp zones from the original version. So I maintain that if MC-108 works as intended, this has to be considered a bug.

This Works as Intended. Please do not assume that differences between different versions of the game are bugs. Quasi-connectivity is not a feature introduced to MCPE.

Confirmed for 0.14.0

Comment by PHO [ 28/Jan/16 ]

That means a lack of quasi-connectivity for those components in MCPE.
