 Description   

I'm not sure if this is intended or not, but it doesn't seem that way to me. Comparators give no signal to minecart inventories (Hopper, Chest)

In order to measure those containers, you need to place a comparator in front of a detector rail, and then put those carts on top of the rail. If you did that and still no signal, then that would be a bug.

I think you mean, items inside Minecart with Chest, and Hopper do not give any power to comparators?
