 Description

Game has "invisible" inventory slots. I was holding extra items that i could not see nor select. The only way to release / access them was to die. Here is how i discovered this...

In game, I needed to move some sugarcane. I cut it all down and I went to place it in a new spot but it was missing from my inventory. I was certain It visually moved to my player. I dont know about audio confirmation, as I was playing without sound. However I noticed my inventory was totally full. To be certain, I emptied some items into a chest freeing up some inventory slots and went to collect some reserve sugarcane that I had growing in another location. Confirmed. The item zipped to my player, but it was not visible in my inventory. I wondered if it was still in memory. I totally emptied my inventory and I had my character commit suicide by jumping off a high ledge. My sugar cane, as well a a LOT of other items appeared. 8 full stacks of random stuff that I had no idea I was carrying. (see attached)

Try a search before writing a new bug report. A search of the words Invisible Inventory would be enough.

This particular bug is apparently fixed in a future release. You can leave a vote at report MCPE-9960
