 Description

I converted my world to infinite, where the world border used to be the ground was raised up to create a wall
How to replicate
1) create a classic world
2) make infinite
3) see that the old world border is now a wall of blocks

Works by design. The generator used for old worlds is different from that used for infinite worlds.
