 Description

Also affects 0.13.1!

When you go deep into water, say, 16 blocks or deeper, tamed wolves will teleport down to the seabed with you, and swim back upwards. Then, when they are 16 (? I think) blocks above you, they teleport back down. Process repeats until the wolf drowns.

Videos are provided.

How to reproduce:
1. Tame a wolf
2. Find deep water, such as an ocean, and sink to the bottom.
3. The wolf will teleport down to you, and then start to swim back up.
4. Step 3 repeats until the wolf drowns.

Tested on:

  • THL 2015, Android 4.4.4
  • Tesco Hudl 1, Android 4.2.2

As of 0.13.1 and earlier, this is working by design. So long as there is a transparent block is within a 5×5×1 area centred on the player, the dog is able to teleport.
