 Description

Tablet RCT6773W22B/RCA 7 Voyager II

So I bought a mouse and keyboard for my Tablet thinking that Minecraft Pocket Edition would be compatible Like PC. The issue is that for my keyboard the only keys that work are my arrow keys, and W, A, S, D, and ESC. E, Q, and etc wont work at all. And my Mouse cursor stays on my screen and the only way to move the screen with my mouse is to hold left click and then move my mouse around. Scroll wheel doesnt work at all. Right click still places blocks and when Im done aiming my mouse, if I left click for three seconds it will destroy blocks. Please Help

Affects Creative and Survival on all world types

This is still an issue, not resolved. Tested on s8+, only bottom row of keys and arrow keys work as valid replacements.

The CLICK+HOLD drag to change pitch and yaw is still an issue on 0.15.0.
Was just on Live stream and was told that this probably shouldn't be like that as it should be like Win10...I offered to put in a JIRA ticket...however noticed that this one already existed.

I've tried this on both my Nexus 6, Pixel C as well as my Atom Based PC running Android X86 (at least in 0.14.0-0.14.3, need to update that box and try again).

To reproduce, just connect a Bluetooth mouse, then while walking around try to turn your head. To do so, you will need to CLICK Drag as if you were touching the screen. I would have thought having split touch enabled would correct this, however it doesn't matter if split touch is enabled or not.

I completely agree and once Win10 is basically an exact copy of MCPE I think that the keyboard and mouse feature should be ported to Android. MCPE is written to accept those items. If it weren't in some way no keys would work at all. So why not just port in the rest of the feature? I'm thinking maybe in the next big update

Keyboard issues mentioned at MCPE-10353

0.14.1 - Still some Keyboard and Mouse for Android support bugs, namely:

  • Mouse only mimics touch screen gestures/movements, does not move camera without clicking
  • On keyboard, only WASD and Esc work (needs space for jump, E for inventory ect.)

In summary the keyboard and mouse controls on Android do not offer the same functionality as the Win 10 version

For real? The other one is only a duplicate of mouse issues. I literally covered both issues in one sweep

How I can use Windows 10 edition on Android box connected to TV via HDMI cable?

Common guys, Android is coming to some TV models as well. Do you realise that such hardware does not support touch control?

How about achivements? Are they in pe yet?

Comment by iyuri kenzo gella [ 18/Feb/16 ]

I all know that. Im not angry. What i mean was to use win 10 for that since it still has a bug. No offense

Comment by iyuri kenzo gella [ 18/Feb/16 ]

Thats why its pe. Designed for touch (obviously) not for mouse and keyboard... If you want keys; use the windows 10 edition
