When I put a Noteblock underground it doesn't make any sound, it just sound like hitting a block. But if i put it on terrain it works perfectly fine |

Yes, if i put it on stone or any kind of underground block it won't sound normaly, just like a hitting sound.. i will try putting it on grass.. maybe that'll work |

You mean when a Note Block is placed on smooth stone it makes a ticking or hitting sound, correct? |

Was an opaque block present immediately above the noteblock? A noteblock should not produce sound if obstructed. |
