 Description

Iron doors, when installed, only respond (open/close) to one of the levers – either side of the door. Lever on the other side does not respond, resulting in being locked in/out. Bug appears on Windows 10 Edition and Android Edition and has been duplicated in multiple tests in the Overword and the Nether.

Hi Simon, can you explain how you are setting up your iron door and two levers?

I suspect you might be a bit confused about the redstone physics required to do this. To open the door you must provide power to the door. To close the door you must remove power from the door. Placing a door in a wall with a lever on the wall on either side, adjacent to the door, does not achieve this.

Levers placed on walls power the block they attach to so long as the lever remains in the down position. Thus if you turn on one switch, opening the door, go through the door, and turn on the other switch, you should (and I confirm on my device) have an open door that is powered by two different levers in the on position.

Instead of levers, try using buttons which temporarily power blocks.

Please comment to let us know if this resolves your issue or if I got it totally wrong.
