Confirmed on iPad Mini 4 iOS 9.2 too. Edit : it has been resolved for like 10 minutes and now I have the same problem as before. |

Thanks Cameron. Very helpful. I've never seen a low enough resolution that you only get 3 items width in the furnace inventory. That may be what's causing the problem. My current theory is either the first item, or the first column of items in the furnace inventory are being cut off. From the screenshots, the items in your inventory that appear in the furnace inventory are (in order going left to right, top row to bottom) iron ore, birch planks, crafting table. That order is the same order that the items populate the furnace inventory. Thus is seems possible that the furnace inventory is "cutting off" the first item or maybe it is failing to display the first column of items. First test: try scrolling left/right and up/down in the furnace inventory to see if the iron ore is off screen (seems unlikely, but easy to test) Second test: Rearrange your inventory so that the iron ore is not the first item that can go into the furnace inventory in that left to right, top row to bottom order. Using the inventory screen as an example, drop the stack of 13 dirt and pick up a sapling, sticks, coal ore, or whatever is nearby (and goes into the furnace somehow) in its place. Then take a look to see which items are visible in the furnace inventory. Please post your results. This test should tell us if it's the inventory or the iron ore item that's the issue. |

Sorry to have to ask simple questions, but did you click on the upper (smelting) slot of the furnace before trying to click on your iron ore? To use the furnace you have to select the furnace slot, then tap the item you want to put into that slot. The furnace inventory (left part of the interface) shows a subset of your inventory that has all items that can be used in either slot, but when you have the lower fuel slot selected, the items that can only be used in the upper smelting slot are greyed out. When that happens, the iron ore looks suspiciously like coal or black wool blocks while gold ore looks suspiciously like obsidian. If the above is no help, can you post 3 screenshots for us?
