 Description

Put the summary of the bug you're having here

What I expected to happen was...:
I expected stuff I stored in my chest to be safe.

What actually happened was...:
When I resumed play the stuff I stored in my chest was gone - a diamond pickax and a stack of obsidian. This has been repeated

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Put stuff in my chest to keep it safe
2. logged off
3. logged back on to resume play

Stuff is missing. Because of this and other bugs I uninstalled minecraft win10 beta

I know there are still issues with chests in the latest and greatest. I am not positive, but I thought I saw something insignificant go missing a while ago. That being said, there is an issue which may be related.

I have a portal to the nether. I collected a number of stacks of netherrock and put them in furnaces to be transformed into nether bricks. I removed the bricks and created blocks and put them in a chest. I went about my business and went to the surface to do some things. When I came back into the nether, the bricks were in the furnaces again, so I removed them, made blocks, etc. Rinse and repeat. For a while I was getting free bricks. This is reproducible.

Coincidence? Probably not...

I did reinstall the beta version of minecraft for windows 10 to verify the issue repeated and I am still seeing anomalies where items stored in the chests are concerned.

I did put some items I harvested into a chest at one point and they disappeared.
I have moved stacks of items from one chest to another only to find they reappeared in the original chest. Oddly enough, they were also in the destination chest. Unfortunately it was just cobblestone instead of diamonds or something cool...

Keep in mind if everyone takes the attitude of uninstalling Minecraft because of the bugs, then Minecraft will be developed by people who do not know the game. Even though they say they will continue develop the PC version, this is Microsoft we are talking about. If we read between the lines with what they told to the press, they will continue to develop both until the pocket edition caches up with the PC version. After it becomes the same as PC then it will have new things implemented that the PC version does not have. Translation, PC version will not be worked on any more.

So, it just depends who you want to voice what needs to be put in the game. If no one says anything they will do stuff like make signs not hold back water, or mobs that drop nothing unless player kills them.
