basically evertime i download a map from the minecraft forums and i start the map it looks like a randomly generated seeded map |

Please don't use this issue tracker as a support forum. Transferring worlds between devices in this manner is not a feature built in to the game. If you want help with this, ask on the forums or elsewhere. |

i have done that but when i start te workd it looks like a newly started world |

You have to put the folder with the world name in .minecraft/saves, not a zip file. |

You want to put the folder that contains region, level.dat, and other stuff, into your saves folder. |

Can't reproduce as described. Have sent plenty of maps back and forth and they work fine. |

I had that once. Maybe you didn't put it in the right file or you made it a map instead of a winrar file. |
