Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. |

This happens because the block is invisible and your just seeing through the block and seeing the other side. Use this while you can, it'll be fixed next update when infinite worlds are released. |
