 Description

Activator Rail sound like wool. Might sound like cake, depending on which duplicate bug you reference. Either way, we expect it should sound the same as normal rail.

Does not occur in 0.15.10, but does occur in 0.16.0 beta build 5 (0.15.90.8).

Fixed in 1.1.0.0

Reopened because I tested and confirmed MCPE-17478, which is a duplicate of this issue. Also changed the title to be more descriptive.

Cannot reproduce on 0.15.0 on Windows 10.

@AMAN4700 Yes it does, this bug hasn't been fixed yet.

Comment by AMAN4700 [ 22/Feb/16 ]

Does this bug still appear in 0.14.0? If so please respond.

Also in Minecraft PE Beta 5

Not fixed yet in Minecraft: PE 0.14.0 Beta 2

I already commented on internal channels about this QA tester, still awaiting a response. I'll send the thread to them as well.

As for the reason why it was closed, I have no idea. That's why I reopened it.

shoghicp, I have a favor to ask of you. There are some more issues that have been unnaturally closed by Janosik and I listed all of them in this thread. I would highly appreciate it if you could check them as well. Thank you for your consideration.

shoghicp, and why Janosik resolved the issue as "Works As Intended" like MCPE-11953.

Comment by [Mojang] Shoghi Cervantes [ 14/Jan/16 ]

I have checked this issue and it has been mislabeled as "Working as Intended".

I checked the Java version and the placement sound for activator rail is not wool, but that's what it sounds like in MCPE/Win10. Furthermore, I checked with the person responsible of sounds and it was a clear bug for him as well.

As for the proper sound, it should sound like the normal rail placement sound.

What? This clearly doesn't work as intended.

Comment by HyperCamel [ 13/Jan/16 ]

This issue does not work as intended.

Can someone reopen this issue? Janosik resolved this issue as "Works As Intended" for no reason.

Comment by PHO [ 07/Jan/16 ]

Please reopen this. Janosik closed it as "Works As Intended" with no explanation why it's intended. Note that there are some other issues (like MCPE-11953) which has been dismissed that way, rendering the bug report pointless.

#hopefullyfixedbugs

Comment by PHO [ 24/Dec/15 ]

I guess Janosik mistakenly did that.

Comment by ItsPlantseed [ 24/Dec/15 ]

I do not know why "[QA] Janosik" resolved this issue

Comment by ItsPlantseed [ 24/Dec/15 ]

Nikola Bojanic, that is what i think XD
