The furnace on survival mode doesn't allow you to place any form of fuel - coal, wood, planks - into the fuel square in the furnace menu. |

Hi mcwin10. I would agree with ElKameleon's analysis. It seems you only have 1 wood in your inventory. Also, you would have to click on the fuel slot (the bottom left of the 3 boxes in the furnace) and then click on the item in your inventory to place it in the fuel slot, I don't think you can drag and drop them in there. Please let us know if this fixes the issue so I can resolve the ticket. |

You only have 1 piece of wood in your inventory... you cant both put the same piece of wood in two different places. can you provide a screenshot with more than one in your inventory to confirm that isn't the issue? I know that sounds really condescending, but sometimes its the simplest things. |

Thanks Sachin, I am running win10 pro on an Asus B121 tablet and my furnaces work fine. The only fuel items that can no longer be used as fuel are enchanted wooden weapons/tools (this change was intentional). Does your problem happen to all furnaces in all your worlds? If this problem only recently started happening, can you describe what you were doing before it started happening? Please try creating a new world, building a new furnace and placing fuel items in it. Does that work? Clearly we need more details to understand and fix this problem. Thanks! |
