rplatham When I opened my map I was already in the Nether in a Nether fortress. Not sure if lava was still falling, I didn't experience lag before 0.12.3 when finding the fortress. It was possibly a brief lag upon opening a world but already being in the Nether. |

Perhaps this is happening because many lava flows are updating at the same time when you go into the nether for the first time? Is the lag spike worse, the same or better after the nether lava has "settled"? |
