Confirmed with slimes not spawning in swamps. I have been to 3 swamps now in 1.15.1 version and no slimes are spawning.

haven't seen or heard a slime, wolf, or an ocelot (probably cuz I haven't found a jungle biome ) in my survival at all...

Aspergerian, Ocelots do spawn. Found in seed 65183.

Comment by [MCPE Helper] Aspergerian [ 07/Nov/16 ]

Can confirm, ocelots do not seem to appear anywhere in a jungle, big or small. Even when I've checked the area over and over again, no ocelots spawn AT ALL.

Comment by Tasel [ 07/Nov/16 ]

confirmed. I have now seen them. not sure if there was some update, or just incredibly unlucky.

Comment by [Mojang] Adrian Östergård [ 01/Nov/16 ]

I found squids almost right away when starting a new world in creative.

Comment by Tasel [ 27/Oct/16 ]

I've gone to ocean biomes (both in 0.15 & 0.16) and can confirm that squids do not seem to be appearing in the ocean (both along shoreline and seemingly deep oceanic areas). Hit myself with night vision in creative mode and moved around for quite a while without any squids appearing. Unable to confirm depth due to no coordinate options.

Running iOS 10.1 on both iPhone and iPad versions.

EDIT: know this is "resolved", but resolutions appears to still be awaiting answer... not sure if it should be a new ticket or not.

Does this bug still appear in 0.14.3? Please respond.

Plethora777,

I've noticed that squid rarely (never?) spawn after spending a long time in a given area. Ditto for rabbits, ocelots and wolves.

Yes, they do spawn but are ridiculously rare. As I commented on MCPE-8280, you can only find 2 squids or so in a VAST ocean. Finding an emerald ore is a lot easier than squids. I consider this is a bug.

Also, is squids not spawning in non-ocean biomes an intentional difference from MCPC?

Yes. See MCPE-8280.

I agree, all of the above do spawn correctly in 0.14.0 in my opinion.

Comment by kaleb418 [ 22/Mar/16 ]

I have seen every single one of these mobs in the same world. You just need to know where and how to find them. Try checking the Minecraft Wiki.

Comment by PHO [ 22/Mar/16 ]

I don't think this affects 0.14.0 as I've actually seen squids, slimes, rabbits, and wolves in it (dunno about ocelots because I've not found any jungles in the first place). But squids and rabbits are EXTRAORDINARILY rare, perhaps rarer than intended.

Confirmed.

Does this bug still appear in 0.14.0? If so please respond.

depressed-pho This is actually the original report, others are duplicates. I think one of the moderators made a mistake when marking this.

This issue has been marked as duplicate but duplicates what?
I don't see any open issues in the Issue Links...

Comment by Luis Robles [ 07/Nov/15 ]

Still confirmed in build 3

Comment by Ramon Ornelas [ 07/Nov/15 ]

Also I haven't seen any bunnies spawn in forest

Comment by Luis Robles [ 04/Nov/15 ]

Slimes still confirmed in 0.13.x
