 Description

When taking things out of a chest and putting them in my inventory they are going missing. I demolished a chest and the lost half the amount of iron ore that I took into my inventory I also took 6x64 torches out of a chest but then found I had only 3x64 in my inventor. 8 think that the game is allowing me to put anything I want into my inventory without getting full and I lose what ever goes over the limit.

Please see this ticket MCPE-9960, which I believe is a duplicate of what you are experiencing.

This happens with me for coal. I can see it on my active toolbar, but not in my inventory. It had fully disappeared on me (even allowing me to fill my inventory with other items) until I mined more, and had an empty slot in my tool bar, where it appeared (but still can't see it in my inventory). I can make blocks of coal from it, but cannot move it into another box. I'm afraid to remove it from my toolbar again, for fear I'll lose it!

I'll add photo's which show snow, cobble and dirt which only showed on the anvil GUI.

I've just found another way to recover several stacks of items that had gone missing from having an over full inventory: Use an anvil, and I was able to see items that didn't show up in the regular inventory. I could then put said items in the rename/repair sections, close the gui, and the said items would drop onto the floor.

I lost a stack of books this way, but I was able to get them back by emptying my inventory and then re-adding books again back and forth until they were all showing again. Sorry if that's not very clear, but it did get my items back.
