If you trap (relatively) large numbers of mobs the game will come to a grinding halt and eventually freeze up completely. What is interesting is that this does not appear to correlate to hardware resources, the CPU does not get pegged and RAM usage for Minecraft does not increase, the game itself just comes to a grinding halt as the number of mobs reach a certain threshold (so it seems). |

I experienced this to with a zombie grinder. I was AFK longer than intended. I'm no pro but I think if there is an intended spawning limit for minecraft, it's not working in MCPE - WIn 10. Took me 20 min to lag over to the spawner . Seven or eight deaths, then another 20 min. to kill the mountain of zombies that were there. The frame rate drop was only present when I could get back to the area of the spawner from my home base. 30 or 40 block area around the spawner I'd guess. |
