| Description |

This probably affects both creative and survival. The bug is when you build a structure up to the build limit, the lighting is not effected, even if there is a roof. It just stays bright. I have an image. |

It is sort of fixed in 1.2.0.11. I tested it and at first it matched the results of the bug. I went to try again and it acted as expected blocking light. |

abiessu This part of the bug tracker is for issues with Pocket Edition not Console Edition. There is a separate project on JIRA set up for issues on the Console Editions. |

This bug still affects 0.15.2 Skeletons will burn on the right side with the roof at height limit but not to the left with the roof 1 block lower. And here it just shows the lighting differences (note the same results happen if the lamp is replaced with dirt, it was just what I had on my hot bar when I accidentally broke the dirt.) So please reopen. |

This bug continues to (partially) affect the XBox 360 version (current as of 7/11/2016): Build at the height limit (place a block at height 256) above water in Survival mode. The surface (gravel, sand, etc.) below the water will be lit at each square where a block has been placed at the height limit. The light level will decrease radially outward from each such location as if the source was the water location immediately above that block at the bottom of the water. So far this has been tested with wood planks placed at the height limit. If a sand block is placed at the lit location at the bottom of the water, the light temporarily disappears. Placing an additional block above that (e.g. sugar cane) brings the light back. |

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. |
