Using a silk touch pickaxe on dirt path yields the block itself. What it should drop is just dirt like PC according to the Wiki. Note 3 |

@leo190Β Only devs, admins, mods, and helpers have the authority to close tickets as WAI. And as far as I can tell, this behavior is not intended. Β EDIT: Sorry, I was mistaken about the creative menu thing. It's still inconsistent with Java Edition, though. |

Basing it off of the wiki is a good strategy as the sources of the information are usually sited from trusted sources such as the tweets from the developers. No it is not 100% accurate but it is a good source to use. |

Guys, just because the wiki states how it currently works does NOT mean that it is intentional! The wiki is not maintained by Mojang, but by various Minecraft fans who just update it according to how things currently work. There is currently no official confirmation on whether or not this behavior is intended. I think this is WAI, but basing your argument off of what the wiki says, when all the wiki says is how it works, not whether that behavior is intended or not, is silly. |

Confirmed for 0.15.0. (Tested on Windows 10.) I don't see why this should be considered a bug, though. I see no reason why using silk touch SHOULDN'T allow you to obtain grass path blocks. If anything, it's very helpful when building, just like silk-touching grass blocks is helpful. I would think that being unable to obtain grass path blocks in the Java edition is a bug. Also, just to clarify in case anyone is wondering, you can also use a silk touch shovel to obtain the grass path. It doesn't have to be a pickaxe. |
