 Description

Connection Lost Internal Exception: java.io.Exception: Received string length longer than maximum allowed(18 > 16)

Solved I think. I just had my e-mail address in the scoreboard.dat\PlayerScores(number of) entries\your email. So if you have and you are experiencing the same issue. Just delete it.

I did that before you even told me. So basically, never join teams when you are in offline mode.

Yeah so basically just delete that entry and the world is joinable again.

Thanks! You really helped. Issue Solved.

Using the world provided by you I could actually confirm that this issues is caused by the playername beeing the e-mail address when offline. Yours had an entry in the scoreboard.dat with such a playername.

Same problem if with hamachi or not.

MC-2555:

java.io.IOException: Received string length longer than maximum allowed (24 > 16)

Yours:

javaIOException: Received string length longer than maximum allowed(18 > 16)

Besides that by using Hamachi you create the problem yourself.
