[MC-901] Teleporting using a commandBlock and pressure plates occasionally stick a player into a block. Created: 27/Oct/12  Updated: 29/Dec/17  Resolved: 30/Nov/12

Status: Resolved
Project: Minecraft: Java Edition
Component/s: None
Affects Version/s: Minecraft 1.4.2
Fix Version/s: Minecraft 1.4.5

Type: Bug

Windows Vista

Confirmation Status: Unconfirmed
Game Mode: Survival

 Description

Occasionally, when teleporting yourself using a commandBlock, you will become stuck in your destination block. It looks like the client is trying to fall into the block, but the server is telling it not to. It's comparable to a fixed bug where mining with an Efficiency V tool would occasionally fail to remove the block, but it would not appear for the client. The only solution is to either relog, or to enter creative mode and fly up.

What I expected to happen was...:
To be teleported on top of the block.

What actually happened was...:
I was teleported slightly inside the block, and thus unable to move out of it.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Teleport to a destination using a commandBlock.
2. Occasionally, you will be stuck in the block.

@Tails: The bug seems to be resolved as of 1.4.5 - pressure plates and commandBlocks work very nicely now.

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
