 Description

Using the command 'scoreboard teams join Blue @p' adds a player named '@p' to team Blue, not the closest player. The same problem occurs with @r. However, @a works perfectly.

Nope, still fixed in 1.5.1.

Comment by Zuriki [ 23/Mar/13 ]

This was not fixed. Or was broken again in 1.5.1. Confirm?

Comment by Anon Ymus [ 12/Mar/13 ]

Fixed in 1.5.

Can confirmed not working in 13w07a

If you set a search area for @p and there is a player in that area it works correctly but if the area is empty it adds the whole @p[x=321,y=23,z=342,r=2] as the player still

Now about to add another command block to remove the added name in case it fails yay for hacky fixes.

Not fixed in 13w06a.

Confirmed for me in 13w05b using command blocks.

Also tested with "scoreboard teams join test @p", no console output at all, but my team still does not change.

This problem still persists in 13w05b. Here are my logs, this is on the server (minecraft_server.jar): http://pastebin.com/qV3FENhw

The exact command used was: "scoreboard teams join @p test"

Thanks
