I agree, but using 5 layers to a slab height is ugly because it's bigger than a half block :/ |

I believe this is working as intended. The topmost layer of layered snow does not have collision, so although it is visually slab height, it does not have the collision of a slab. Five layer snow is slab height collision-wise. The only way to fix this would be to eliminate the sunken-in-snow effect, or add some special mechanic that defies physical heights. |
