 Description

So, I'm not sure if this is just on my computer or if others have experienced it as well, but from time to time the sound on Minecraft will just completely cut out with no explanation (I haven't changed or accidentally turned off the sound). The only way to get it to come back is to close Minecraft and restart it. A little unusual, but definitely would appreciate if anyone could give some helpful insight into this. Thanks!

Have not noticed this for some time now, probably was just a glitch on my computer.

No answer on querry, assuming not an issue anymore.

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

java version "1.7.0_11"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_11-b21)

If you don't know what Java version you are using, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Start button -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt
    • On Windows 8 simply type "Command Prompt" in the start menu and click the icon
  2. Type
    java -version
  3. Type the results here, that is the java version you are currently using

What is your java installation version? (Specifically the 64 and not 32 bit)

Windows 7, I don't know anything about the LWGJL files, but I don't think I've modified them. No mods, and Java-64.

What operating system are you using? Have you updated/modified the LWGJL files? Do you have any mods installed? What version of Java are you using?
