After mining a small area out of about 10x10x20 I was about to place the drops in a chest when my PC froze (this isn't the problem) but when I restarted and reopened minecraft i returned to see the small area refilled like it was never touched but all the drops still in my inventory. |

Your world got corrupt and these things happen. It could just as easily have destroyed everything too. Not something we can fix. |
