 Description

What I expected to happen was:
The mine cart would stop on the de-powered powered rail.

What happened:
The mine cart will not stop unless it hits something.

Describe what happened here

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make a long stretch of powered rail.
2. Power it, then leave 1 piece un-powered at the end
3. Put a mine cart at the begging of the rail, then push it.
4. It does not stop

Other notes: I was working hard on a item auto item carrier thing, and when I first tried it I was wondering why it would not stop. I tried it with other mine carts, they would not stop either. Also I always watch about the snap shots from all the famos YouTubers, and I never saw something about mine carts not stopping. Hope you can fix it! Also watch the quick video I uploaded with this report.

When powered rails were added, one of the devs commented about powered off rails just substracting momentum every tick and posiibility of fast moving carts to pass single powered off rails.

Ok thank you, when I saw your comment I did some further testing and you are correct, but the weird thing is is that I don't remember it always being like that. Well thanks!

Depending on the momentum of the minecart it may take up to two blocks of unpowered rails for the minecart to stop - see screenshot.
That behaviour is since ever in the game, and I think it's working as intended.
