I looked in the log and it had nothing in it

After I ran minecraft and Ect.

Change the batchfile to

java -Xmx1g -Xms512M -cp Minecraft.exe net.minecraft.LauncherFrame > log.txt

then you'll find a log.txt in your .minecraft directory (or whereever you've stored that batch file) after you've run Minecraft.

Allright, I removed the "java" part in front because it dident like that now its saying "-Xmx1g is not recognized as a internal or external command

Yes, the bat file won't change anything on the issue but the information in the console window is useful for finding the issue.
Mark it, copy it to whatever text file and attach it here.

Still closed...

When I put it in %appdata%/.minecraft/

Comment by Kumasasa [ 14/Jan/13 ]

any name ending with .bat will do, for example minecraft.bat or my_little_batchfile.bat

Comment by Kumasasa [ 14/Jan/13 ]

Start Minecraft with the following batch file:

java -Xmx1g -Xms512M -cp Minecraft.exe net.minecraft.LauncherFrame
pause

(To create this: open Notepad, put the contents above inside and save it as "minecraft.bat" where your Minecraft.exe is on your harddisk, maybe in %appdata%/.minecraft/ )

After running and crashing please attach the output of the console windows here.

Please do not mark unreleased versions as affected. You do not have access to this yet.
