 Description

When generating world with seed 'lost' for the first time, there will be a nearby mushroom biome. Certain giant mushrooms don't render properly and the blocks will appear transparent and invisible. However, you can't fly or walk through them but you can 'reach' through them. The issue seems to be fixed when you reload the chunks or restart the world.

First of all, it clearly is generating in stripped parts. The bug extends to all structures (see MC-5737) and has not been marked as fixed.

Nope, this is about the giant mushrooms, not trees.
EDIT: And it has nothing to go with the mushrooms generating in stripes, and the snapshot is 13w02b.

I recall a report like this a bit
As much as I like this bug, I admit
Searching's quite fun
And not what you've done
Thus I declare this a duplicate
(MC-5737)

EDIT: The last screenshot is when I reloaded the world.
