 Description

Improper Redstone Circuitry?

I was trying to create a simple Redstone "Clock", as seen here: http://i.imgur.com/19Wyz.png or in the attached pictures. (Red wool is a stand-in for a Redstone Block)
The Redstone block was suppose to power the Redstone on the Stone Block, therefore powering the piston, pushing the Redstone Block out of the way, turning off the circuit, creating a loop.

However, after the piston was activated, it remained powered until the Redstone Block was removed.
As far as I know the Redstone Block should not power, unless connected to Redstone, Repeaters, or other items of that nature.

Steps to Reproduce:
(See Attached Pictures)
