 Description   

When completely filling a large chest with an item, then breaking it, then placing the items in another double chest, a stack (64) of the item is lost.

For example, filling a large chest with apples, then breaking it so you pick the items up again (2 people needed to pick up all items), then placing the items back in the chest, there are some missing.

This happens on Multiplayer minecraft (hosted, not LAN), and can be replicated every time.

However, when you close the chest, then open it again, MOST of the items are back again. This was the case for us, as we closed the chest (missing one stack), then opened it again and there was 57 apples, so there were now only 8 missing.

This ticket is invalid as it relates to a modded or 3rd party client/server.

  • Any non-standard client/server build needs to be taken up with the appropriate team, not Mojang.
  • Any plugin issues need to be addressed to the plugin creator.
  • This site is for addressing issues related to the base unmodded MineCraft.

Cannot reproduce with 13w02b (but never seen that in any version before)
