What I expect to happen when there is lightning is that it creates some fires, but rain or time puts the fires out. What really happened was when the lightning created fire, the fire would never go out. Rain did not put it out, and it burned forever. It was also able to hurt the player. This only happens when you have "/gamemode doFireTick false" If you have "/gamemode doFireTick true" this bug does not happen. Steps to Reproduce: |

I'm sorry. I did do a long search to make sure and I did not think that post was a duplicate. I have never noticed this happen before and I have had many storms while playing in this world. I also thought because it was a different and new version of the game that it was a new bug (or an old bug that came back). I guess it could have been the other way around, and that the rain in the old version of the game was putting out fires and it wasn't supposed to, causing me to think this was a bug. |
