In both fancy and fast graphics mode, when you drop either one or a full stack of quartz slabs the slabs appear to brighten and dim repeatedly. |

The top of the slab does not change brightness, only the sides. But all blocks do that. |

If you mean the shadows on the sides, I see those on all blocks. |

When thrown on the ground do you see how it becomes dim then bright then dim and so on? |
