 Description

If a minecart with a chest in it goes over a hopper, it won't deposit it's items in it. I'm sorry if this isn't a bug, it's just that they did on a previous version and it didn't show up on the changelog.

Unable to reproduce, assuming fixed.

@Ad you can make a minecart ride over a hopper (shift-click rails on a hopper)
@Owen I believe it is intended that items won't enter the hopper when it is powered, the only way you can get items in a hopper is by using another hopper or right clicking it.

I may have recreated this bug, although I think it is slightly more complicated than the original poster implied. If a hopper is powered, it will prevent items from entering it as well as leaving it when sourcing items from a minecart with a chest. I'm not sure if that is intended, but when you're sourcing items from other locations (such as a chest or another hopper) it allows items to enter but not leave when powered, so there are two very different behaviors right now.

is it supposed to??? i thought the hopper was the only supposed to move things from its own container to the container of the block below or next to the hopper. and it did work for me to get the block from the hopper into the moving chest minecart.
