 Description

I have a texturepack called round sun and moon pack. some of you might have heard of it. it worked fine since minecraft 1.0
now that I downloaded the new snapshot it no longer worked and I went to the texturepacks in main menu, it said "incompatible" in red.
I knew that was because of the new texturepack system. so I downloaded a the unstitcher tool dinnerbone created. I launched it and chose to convert this texturepack. after it said it was done I started minecraft and went to the texturepack folder. it now said"incompatible-converted round sun and moon pack".

what I expected to happen was: the texturepack got converted and would work.
what actually happened was : the texturepack still didn't work.

steps to reproduce
1. download texturepack
2. download unstitcher
3. place converted round sun and moon texturepack in the .minecraft texturepack folder.

The file structure of the texture packs is now much more touchy. Blocks now need to be in textures\blocks ore else they won't load when the texture pack is used.

yay! but ehm I think you messed up 2/3d of the texture pack system while you fixed this

Fixed in snappyshot!

I also have a question. Will texture packs replace .lang files? If they do not, where is the proper place to suggest this?

I do believe that I have the answer. I noticed that in my complete texture pack, the blocks and items folders were not in a textures folder. I remedied this, and the texture pack now stands as valid.

I have used a zip folder with one PNG file in it. It was counted as a texture pack and was also counted as incompatible. The image was applied, B.T.W.

updated it. it's still an issue

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
