 Description   

You can now control a hopper with redstone (to stop in- or output of items), nice feature.

But a lever placed on top of the hopper don't work.
And you can't place any levers at the sides of the hopper.

The redstone only works from a block from the side (see attachment)

ok, but rails are meant to placed.
My focus was on the sides of the hoppper, because now a redstone signal is part of the hopper, there should be possible to place some switches at the sides.

It shouldn't be possible to place levers there so the lever does not stop it. That's a bug caused by a bug (MC-6081).
