If you put a block (Used Redstone lamps at first) and comparators in the configuration of the picture (an infinite loop), then put a repeater or comparator on any side of any block, the game will crash.

Can't reproduce in 13w07a. Seems to be fixed.

I followed the the text and screenshot, but I can't reproduce this. I've tried letting the signal cycle around and lock on, but putting repeaters or comparators on the area indicated by the second screenshot has no effect. Could someone who can reproduce this bug describe it in better detail? I did notice that, when making a similar setup with repeaters, the comparator system gave much quicker pulses than the repeater variation, so a bug like this would be understandable.

Edit: You apparently do not need to have a repeater or comparator facing away from this to cause the problem. I unloaded the world, and upon trying to load the world, my game simply crashed. This behavior partially defies the description, but this bug does exist.
