I got this problem in the newest Snapshot 14w25a! Even if i want to join offline it doesnt work.. I get into the server but there is no communication with the server.. And the Server got a very high use of the CPU (54% without any player!!!!!!!!).. I had to start the server with 8gb ram because it also had memory problems... And its also not the firewall ... with the same setting it worked in 1.7.. Offline: Online: [12:15:19] [Server thread/INFO]: Starting minecraft server version 14w25a |

Cannot confirm. According to http://help.mojang.com/ all servers are up. What do you get when you click on https://login.minecraft.net/ and https://session.minecraft.net/ ? |

ok, i will whitelist it. |

Just note that when online mode is set to false, anybody with network access to your server can login (unless you use a whitelist). |

CubeTheThird, ill try that. also, Anon, it totally does... |

What you can try is setting the online-mode property to false. Should this work, it likely means that the server cannot connect to the internet. |

He means "does the computer the server is running on have access to the internet?". |

Kumasasa, i tryed deleting everything, i can give a new server log if you'd like, uploading it now. i also don't think it could be firewall since i did host 3 days ago without changing anything but ill check it. |

Does the server have direct access to the internet? |
