You should use the attached world file. Redstone (possibly the torches) will hiss in rain, much like lava does, but not as common. It must be powered for this to happen. |

I agree with Thimo, I believe this is supposed to happen. It's always happened as far as I can remember. It can get annoying, but it makes sense to have "electricity" short circuit a bit when hit by water. |

None of the torches were burning out. When a torch burns out, it stays out. And I was sitting there listening to that for a good 6 minutes, and I only have 15 torches placed in that area. They're all in a line. |

If you built that construction, you should know redstone torches hiss when burning out. Check if they are the source of the sounds you hear. |

I do not think this is a bug. Neither has it ever been different i think. Since i played since Alpha |
