 Description

I love Minecraft and love playing it. I have recently gotten a laptop for Christmas and I downloaded Java and everything. I go on Minecraft, have some fiun, and suddenly, it says that Minecraft has Crashed! I shrug it off, thinking it's the server. This has happened hundreds of times now, and I'm sick of it. I looked at the error and it said it was Updating Screen Events, which I don't know what that is. Here is the error report:

----------------------

Minecraft has stopped running because it encountered a problem; Updating screen events

A full error report has been saved to C:\Users\Julia Lupin\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\crash-reports\crash-2013-01-05_23.04.20-client.txt - Please include a copy of that file (Not this screen!) if you report this crash to anyone; without it, they will not be able to help fix the crash

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

You can always provide us the full crash report. It always helps the people who understand JAVA.

You are most probably melting down your graphics hardware. Try setting the FPS limiter to "Power Saver" to see if the frequency of crashes diminishes. Also check if your drivers are up to date.
