 Description

Basically, whenever I go to popular servers, usually Survival Games servers, I would spawn in the world, and I would set off with a friend. However multiple issues happened involving my movement.

I spawned in the lobby, and everything was fine. My friend and I would look for an open game to play in. Once one opened up, we dived in and made a strategy.

That's when the bug comes in. I will move over to my friend to help him raid the chests, but I cannot open the chests. I tell my friend this and he says, that although on my screen I am right next to him, my entity is still locked in place from where I spawned on his screen! I try to hit other players, I try leaving and rejoining the servers, but this continues to happen, no matter how many times I have updated and redownloaded my client.

I am sorry to tell you that I have never heard of any other person suffering from this bug, so I fear it cannot be reproduced. It may be my computer, but I'm not sure. If you have heard of this error before and know what is wrong, I request instructions on how to fix my problem.

No, not just on SG servers. Any large server gives me this problem. I've had this issue since 1.2.5 approx. and it's not my client, before anyone tells me to reinstall it.

But aren't the survival games servers modded? They can prevent you from opening the chest and they can incorrectly report your location to someone else on the server.

I didn't think it would mean anything but oh well. I've gotten a crash report of my vanilla client, so I'll post it.

This ticket is invalid as it relates to a modded or 3rd party client/server.

  • Any non-standard client/server build needs to be taken up with the appropriate team, not Mojang.
  • Any plugin issues need to be addressed to the plugin creator.
  • This site is for addressing issues related to the base unmodded MineCraft.

I've posted a crash report from when I experienced a similar problem on a MineZ server.
