 Description

When you trigger TNT with a Trapped chest, the chest sometimes survives the TNT but it changes the direction. When it gets a block update it disappears though. The screenshot doesn't say much, so I recommend to check out the following video where I show you the bug:

For me it doesn't crash like in MC-5768.

Thanks for the update.

I tested this in snapshot 13w01b and I don't see it anymore, even if the tnt doesn't destroy anything within 1 block form the chest (like Richard was talking about). So I guess it's fixed

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

I didn't know where environment was for, sorry.

Put your computer specs into the section where it belongs: Environment

Noticed some other things.. this only happens when no other blocks are being destroyed by the tnt within 1 blocks from the chest. Also happens with regular chests

Ok reopened, but somehow weird that it's not crashing...

I'm sorry, but in that bug report it says it crashes their game, for me it doesn't crash as you can see.
That report also doesn't say it moves the direction of the chest or that it disappears with a block update.
