 Description

As I clicked on an item in the creative menu, it would not stay with my mouse. I kept clicking on it until it worked. The redstone block does this a lot and when I click on it, drag it to my main row, then click again, it has a yellow zero under it like a stacking number.

I can provide more information if you like.

Still in 1.5.1

This remains an issue for me in the release of 1.5. Every inventory click has a noticeable delay which causes me to frequently misplace items. If this has to do with the new double-click functionality, I'd suggest allowing the single click to take effect, and reverting its action if necessary on the second click before performing the double click action.

Inventory lag was improved in 13w04a, but not entirely resolved. In the current release of 1.5, when an item is clicked on in the inventory, it will take about 1/2 a second to react.

The inventory is still laggy in 1.5 for the same reason I stated above.

This still isn't fixed in 13w04a. If you pick up a stack and right click a item down it will still lag. Also if you have an item in your hand already and try to pick up something quickly it won't pick it up.

Removed creative only tag.

I'm experiencing this in survival as well.

I am having this issue also. There is about a 1/4th second delay after you click an item until it actually picks it up, so if your mouse moves during this time you will not drag the item with you. This may be intentional, however it is about to drive me insane...
