Minecraft uses an internal server. Lag will happen regardless of whether or not you are using wifi. There is not a way to stop this. To be honest, though, I think it was a poor decision to use an internal server in single player because it is less stable and doesn't work as well on somewhat older hardware. |

Lagging is very normal. I don't understand what you mean about your router being turned off. This site isn't for technical support, though. |

This ticket is incomplete. Also, singleplayer is just multiplayer without the players. The game now uses an internal server, so playing a singleplayer world is no different than playing on a server. |
