I have a EVGA GEFORCE GTX 670 FTW. It is a very good graphics card that has been overclocked. I can reproduce the crash with the steps below. 1. Open with a 32x Texture Pack on optifine.(I was able to reproduce without texture pack and without optifine) This only has happened to a small amount of poeple of of those few have had a intel or a nvidia cpu or gpu. I have tried everything from reinstalling drivers to reinstalling java. Only happenes on 1.4.6 for some reason. |

Your video card driver crashed. Minecraft is not capable of causing this problem itself (as it runs underneath it, it's a bug in your installed driver. Update it. If there's no update available then you'll have to wait for a better Windows 8-compatible driver for it. |
