What I expected to happen was...: Say that you have a slot containing 64 bricks in your inventory and you'd like to remove ten. Normally, you'd press the appropriate button and you would be able to remove that number for whatever purposes you have instead of removing them all from your inventory at once. You then would be able to individually place them into the appropriate slot on the crafting table to make an item. What actually happened was...: The function that normally allows this process nolonger works. I've tried this with different controls, even creating new worlds, and nothing has changed. I can only select all of that item at once or none at all. I also cannot place or store them individually in my inventory or the crafting table; the game only allows me to place all of that item at once. This naturally makes crafting an item that requires more than one of the same ingredient in a particular arrangement - stairs, for instance - so difficult that it is practically impossible especially for new players. This never happened until the latest update, as this function worked perfectly fine before I installed the update. Steps to Reproduce: |

Then perhaps I haven't described it clearly enough, because I literally cannot craft items anymore without gathering several separate chunks because the game automatically withdraws or deposits all of that particular chunk at once. This never happened to me prior to the latest update, and I haven't modded my game whatsoever. |

That never worked in vanilla. It always required either Convenient Inventory or Inventory Tweaks to achieve. |
