 Description

If setting the use VSync option to On I have micro-lags (not really lags, more like frame rate issues) that are very annoying, and frames nailed to around 60 FPS. This is what VSync does, and I’m aware of that. Because of that I disabled VSync and instantly frame rate goes up to around 110 FPS which is fine on my machine in full-screen mode.

After I quit Minecraft and restarted it in the evening again I noticed that micro-lags and overall “stuttering” behavior again. This behavior felt like the same I noticed with VSync enabled. I checked the configuration but Use VSync was still Off.

After setting it to On, and directly after that setting it to Off again, frame rate goes up and the game acts normal again.

This is reproducible: Whenever I enter Minecraft, it seems like Use VSync is On even if the option is set to Off in video configuration menu. After setting it to On and direct after that setting it to Off again, it’s good.

I'm getting the opposite problem when I start minecraft, Vsync is off but it says in the menu that its on (my moniter is only 60hz so I need it). Really annoying because the tearing is horrible.

Not duplicate, related. MC-715 is about windowed mode, this here is about fullscreen mode.
