This ticket is invalid as it relates to a modded or 3rd party client/server.

  • Any non-standard client/server build needs to be taken up with the appropriate team, not Mojang.
  • Any plugin issues need to be addressed to the plugin creator.
  • This site is for addressing issues related to the base unmodded MineCraft.

Unable to reproduce.

So this isn't a duplicate. But the chat text in your screenshot is colored. Does the server have any mods? (Bukkit, etc. can change what happens when you right click something.)

Holding shift while placing blocks, solid or non solid will be placed on anything that usually opens a GUI (crafting table, enchanting table etc.) with the place button. LRN2 READ PATCH NOTES
